The Color of the Day Is....Light Blue!

Man, this whole blogging thingy is a lot harder than it looks! The Color of the Day is....Yellow!

Yellow. It's got a nice ring to it, doesn't it? You've got Yellow Gold, Yellow Fever, Old Yeller...actually, I'm not sure if that was because he was a yellow dog, or because he yelled alot, but it doesn't matter...Yellow is a wonderful color pick for today, so hop into my Yellow Submarine and let's go find it!

I wanted to take a moment to do a bit of Acronym definitions for anyone who may not know what some of the abbreviations that appear in here mean.

ACEO stands for Artist Cards Editions and Originals. They are also know as Artist Trading Cards, or ATC's. They are baseball card size works of art that are becoming highly collectible by lovers of art everywhere. They have a standard size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches and can be made of any material or medium the creator wishes. Use caution when making them, as they are very addictive little things ;)

SFA stands for Small Format Art and is a work of art that is less than 14 inches across in any direction. I usually reserve the SFA label for any of my art that is larger than OSWOA size, but smaller than 14 inches.

What the heck is OSWOA???? Original Small Works Of Art. They are 4 inches by 6 inches and fit quite nicely into photo album sleeves. Again, they can be made on any material, and of any medium the creator wishes. These, too, are fast becoming quite collectible to lovers of art.
